“here lies the heart” is an alchemical place in which images and moods dissolve and emerge anew, cast from the moment, the presence of the artist and the visitors. For this transitory space, Hannah Schillinger draws on a relic from her latest piece “field work”: a water sprayer with which she descends into the liquid world of the subconscious, imagination and becoming.

“here lies the heart” ist ein alchemistischer Ort, an dem sich Bilder und Stimmungen auflösen und neu entstehen, geformt aus dem Augenblick, der Präsenz der Künstler*in und der Besucher*innen. Für diesen Übergangsraum greift Hannah Schillinger auf ein Relikt aus ihrem jüngsten Stück “field work” zurück: eine Wassersprüher, mit der sie in die flüssige Welt des Unterbewusstseins, der Vorstellungskraft und des Werdens hinabtaucht.
